Overview
stunning scenery, viewable from roadway along the loch side and from restaurant window
Transport & Parking
large car park (not busy on a weekday out of season) with couple of disabled spaces and readily accessible disabled toilet in car park.
Access
car park on a level and first mile and half or so of roadway accessible by electric buggy and possibly wheelchair, but after that there are greater inclines which would be more testing forelectric buggy or wheelchair. You can hire (from the bike hire place in car park) two seater buggieswhich would make the roadway considerably more accessible. Thinking pre-booking be wise as only saw two buggies. Restaurant reached by a very small lift – okay for a wheelchair (just) but not an electric buggy. Once inside restaurant fairly accessible. Gift shop difficult to get in to and crowded
Toilets
disabled toilet in car park accessible, with okay cleanliness but bit chilly on typical 'summer's' day in Scotland
Staff
bike hire staff very friendly and very helpful. Restaurant staff pleasant but not particularly engaged; will bring food to table but have to order at counter
Anything else you wish to tell us?
didn't go on a cruise on the Loch. Can imagine whole Experience can be very busy at certain times at weekends and in good weather
