Overview
It was such a hot day when we visited Penrith that we stopped for a cold drink mid afternoon in this nice cafe inside a small shopping centre. Access was good to everything in the centre it’s all on one level . The cafe had both inside and outside seating plenty of choice for good snd drinks. We had freshly made lemonade which I have to say was very good .especially as it was such a hot day, staff were helpful it’s table service only in here plenty of room for my scooter and for me to get to the table with my scooter. We had parked near the castle ruin and gone into town from here , which wasn’t that far. Would visit again if in the area .
Transport & Parking
We had visited the castle ruin so left the car here which had a couple of blue badge spaces. We walked to the town from here. We did see quite a few bus stops in the town centre .there was also some on road parking in a few places
Access
Access to this shopping area from the Main Street was good just up a slope all the shops accessible as was the cafe we stopped. In for a cold drink .
Toilets
Didn’t notice any accessible toilets at the cafe
Staff
The staff at the cafe were nice and friendly .it was table service only
