Overview
Small, family run, traditional fish and chip shop. Serves home made chips, fish and veggie options. Access is not perfect so I give it four but for food quality I would give it five out of five.
Transport & Parking
The café is in Teignmouth town centre, which is a five minute level walk from the train station. Teignmouth train station has step free access available. There are also a number of local buses that stop near by.
Access
The café is located in the town centre on a pedestrianised street. Outside there was a free standing table with two chairs. There is level access inside from street level. At the front is the chip shop with a high counter. After the counter is a step or two down without a hand rail. The café has free standing table and chairs with narrow aisles in between, so it is feels quite compact when it is busy.
Toilets
Sorry I didn't check these out on my visit.
Staff
Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The chip shop is counter service. The café is waiter service. The waiter found me a table in the corner so I could rest my crutch nearby. Service was prompt.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This is a busy and very popular fish and chip café. There is an extensive choice of fish and veggie options. Portions are huge. I had some amazing chips, a cheese fry it and mushy peas. It's also very good value both in terms of quality and portion size. Well worth visiting if you are in the area.
