Overview
Cheap and cheerful pub with lovely, friendly staff that cannot do enough to help. Easily accessible for those with a disability as it has ramps, an accessible toilet and flat floors.
Transport & Parking
I did not actually drive there but I know that there is a car park around the back of the pub which has disabled parking spaces. For someone with a wheelchair, the parking may become a problem.
Access
There is a ramp into the pub and a ramp up the raised floor in the pub. However, if an individual has a mobility need then they may not be able to access the booth seats as they are raised. There is a braille menu and a lot of menus that are suited to different needs and preferences. There are plenty of seats around the pub so that if an individual gets tired, they can easily take a break and rest.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet that has to be accessed with a key from behind the bar. It is checked hourly which means that it is always clean and tidy. It has grab rails and an alarm cord which makes it a very good and acceptable accessible toilet.
Staff
All the staff members are lovely and could not do enough to help. They are always more than happy to serve, assist and chat.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would definitely recommend this pub to everyone, lovely food and drinks for not a lot of money!
