Overview
This is one of my regular pubs was asked to do review of a location for a student project so apologise if I miss anything to anyone who actually uses a wheelchair or any other disability.
Transport & Parking
There is lots of pay and display parking nearby although with over 6 disabled parking bays nearby. See picture below but the disc zones can be misleading. In order to park in those Disc zones you do need to display disc to park there for 2 hours. The pub also has its own car park which customers can use for free although it is slightly hidden and does involve a tiny hill. There are cobbled streets as well in and around the Jimmy Watt. The Greenock central train station is five minute walk away.
Access
There was good wheel chair access with ramped access into the pub from the front although no automatic doors. There are sections of the pub that are inaccessible to wheel chair users due to steps. On the whole the tables are at a good height for those with wheel chairs but it can get busy and access to them may not be possible during busy times.
Toilets
They do have toilets for those with impairments didn't actually go in to see it sorry.
Staff
Staff are more than happy to help in whatever why they can.
