Great place for a snack when visiting Old Aberdeen

Overview
A meeting place for students & staff of the university, but we found it was open to the public. Good place for a snack when visiting Old Aberdeen, close to Cruickshank Botanical Garden, St Machar's Cathedral, King's College & King's College Museum.
Transport & Parking
Can't comment on parking. Bus no. 20 from the city centre gets you quite close (5 minute wheel/walk) - see review of St Machar's Cathedral for more detail.
Access
Automatic sliding doors. Lift to upper floors. Good circulating space, though probably crowded during university terms - our visit was in August. Level or ramped access to all ground floor facilities.
Toilets
Located in the entrance hall on the right after you enter the building & well signed. Easy to access & spacious. Well equipped with grab rails. Side transfer possible from both sides. Only minus points were (1) alarm cord too short so not reaching floor level. (2) loo roll located so that only a loo user with arms of simian length could reach it.
Staff
We only encountered the staff of Cafe Tiki. They were charming and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We enjoyed coffee and cakes at Cafe Tiki so much that we came back for tea and shortbread later in the day. Subway have a branch on the ground floor if you prefer something savoury. There's a food court on the first floor with various outlets serving hot meals but we didn't investigate that.
