Overview

A lovely cottage, a warm welcome from Jan and John and we wanted for nothing. The cottage was so well thought out for accessibility on the ground floor, it made our stay more enjoyable as a result. It was immaculately clean and so well kitted out. The location was brilliant for seeing The Lakes and Yorkshirs Dales as well as the beautiful Eden Valley. Appleby is a wonderful place to stay, with such friendly people too. We would certainly recommend it and particularly to anyone with a disability/mobility issues.

Transport & Parking

Parking space right outside the front door. You really need a car to get about.

Access

The ground floor was totally accessible. Level access entry is made through the back garden door. Very spacious inside with super wet room and height adjustable sink, work surface in kitchen area and wash hand basin in wet room. Toilet high and plenty of grab rails in wet room.
