Overview
Conference centre in a beautiful setting. Stayed here for 1 week. Lake path is wheelchair accessible!
Transport & Parking
2 disabled bays available by main entrance, 3 disabled bays available by lower lakeside accommodation. Could use some more disabled bays. Parking was plentiful
Access
I used a power chair to get around. All areas were ramped, however the path up to Derbyshire suite was quite steep. Fine for a power chair but manual chair users would struggle without help. All areas accessible. Ramp up to dining rooms. Platform lift in Derbyshire suite allowing full access to building. Stage not wheelchair accessible. Seating inside and out is plentiful and varied. Curb outside lakeside accommodation not properly dropped. Only one little bit of the curb directly outside the doors that i could use but once I found it, it was fine (on the right). Amazingly, there was nothing that I wanted to access, but couldn't. Bedroom was similar to a standard disabled hotel bedroom. Wet room with fold down seat in shower. Slightly raised toilet. Wide door. Turning from bedroom to bathroom is narrow
Toilets
4 * because no changing places. Accessible toilets were more spacious than many others elsewhere. Space for carer. Grab rails present.

Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would 100% visit again. If you have options between bringing manual chair or power/scooter, pick the latter. Whilst everything is accessible there are many ramps and hills
