Venue Description

The Hastings Centre is a high-quality venue that is used for conferences, exhibitions, sports, leisure, business meetings, arts, dance, private functions, music, comedy and much more. We are easily accessible and our single-level building means that we are wheelchair friendly. Our outdoor field is spacious and easily reached through the main entrance, and there is plenty of space available in our car park. Come and visit our on-site coffee shop, Coffee Box, for great coffee, tasty lunches and scrumptious cakes, while enjoying the view of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from inside or out on the patio. Our open-plan, family-friendly coffee shop has an outdoor play area for children, and is easily accessible from the main entrance of the building. The Hastings Centre and Coffee Box are run as social enterprises, with profits used to benefit our local community.

Accessibility

Our entrance is at ground level with wide doors that can remain open. Access is level throughout the building.

Toilets

We have two sets of disabled toilets: one is accessible near the entrance of the building (via Coffee Box), and the other is located within another set of toilets at the back of the building, near our conference rooms. The doors in each set of toilets are wide and there are grab rails and easy-turn taps in each.
