Overview
This is a great pub, with excellent food and drink and truly helpful and friendly staff who go out of their way to try and make things easier, such as taking a chair away from a table without being asked. The toilet is large and well equipped - which makes life a lot easier. Access to the pub is available via the front and the rear - no steps but the front entrance may be a little narrow for larger chairs or powerchairs, but the rear has a double door and a ramp. The only downside is the parking - it's a small car park and a very popular pub - the last time I went at the weekend someone blocked my door to my car even though we were parked in a disabled space.
Transport & Parking
2 disabled spaces but a small car park and other patrons park willy nilly! So have been blocked from getting out of my chair into the car.
Access
No step access at front and rear door. Front door may be too narrow for larger wheelchairs or powerchairs, but rear is a double door with a ramp. Probably best to let them know if you are booking and taking a wheelchair - the back of the restaurant is probably a bit crowded to be comfortable getting in and out.
Toilets
Plenty of room to the accessible toilet and inside. Clean and tidy with standard additional handles.
Staff
The staff here are really friendly and helpful.
