Disabled Travellers Worcester day trip GUILD HALL
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair, Powerchair, Mobility Scooter
Overview
Right opposite Costa Coffee on High Street, Worcester. Interesting short visit and look around. It looked impressive from outside, bit doubting when seeing steps though (photo 1) but information office pointed the way to right of entrance for a disabled entry (photo 2) and it was on the level (photo 3) with enough room inside to just about get chair and carer in (photo 4) Take the lift up to second floor and you enter a large beautiful hall, used for special events (photo 5) with interesting exhibits (photo 6) it led out to a lovely passage (7) with a delightful staircase, no way, (8) before returning to lift (9). Go down to ground floor and enter the main hall (10) with just a few items of note, before going through wooden panelled doorway and back to lift (photo 11) Although a short visit it was interesting, and we where pleased we had made the effort.
