Michelin style dining, worth persevering with the access problems

Overview
I had happy memories of the restaurant from student days in the 1970s, and was keen to try the lunch menu despite some qualms about wheelchair access. We were warmly welcomed and shown easy access through the kitchen into the main dining room of the restaurant. The food was amazing, beautifully cooked and artistically presented. Very happy to ignore the lack of accessible toilets, I would recommend to all foodie wheelchair users
Transport & Parking
We arrived by WAV, and parked easily in the car park next to the restaurant. Not sure if there is public transport available to the venue. Wheelchair wheels snarl up on small pebbles in the car park, and there is an alarming looking set of steps descending to the main entrance from the car park. Fortunately our arrival timed with the opening of the kitchen entrance which is ramped to allow wheeling in and out of produce, and we used this as our exit as well.
Access
I would recommend wheelchairs avoid the steps down to the entrance.
Toilets
No accessible toilets, the toilets are located along corridor from the dining room and up steps.
Staff
The staff were very welcoming, from the kitchen staff allowing us entry to the dining room staff, all ensured we had a very pleasant lunch.
