Overview
What a treat !!! My family and I went to the Goring Hotel for afternoon tea just before Christmas . Luxury at its best. It was delicious. There is wheelchair access, a disabled toilet and the staff were more than helpful .
Transport & Parking
We got a train from Clapham junction to Victoria . From there it was a five minute walk to the Goring Hotel.
Access
Although there are steps to the entrance of the hotel on our arrival the doorman quickly came out with a portable ramp and proceeded to push me up it. See photo. From there we were taken to our table .
Toilets
The disabled toilet is located on the fourth floor . It can be easily accessed by a wheelchair user by going in the lift. I have never been in such a luxurious disabled toilet . There is plenty of space . Instead of paper towels there proper hand towels. There is a phone and emergency button at floor level if any assistance is required . An added bonus was that the decor was lovely .
Staff
The staff were lovely and could not have been any more helpful.

Would definitely recommend it.

I too love this place. The staff are fantastic. The only downside is that the toilet is on the 4th floor, accessible by a rather small lift. However Sarah is right, it is nice and luxurious when you eventually get there. We like eating there. The food is great and everyone is really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend
