Overview
We were a party of 10 for a celebration Sunday lunch and it went without a hitch... We picked the George solely because of it's disabled access - but it was very tasty too...! Good access throughout - from parking to restaurant to loo. They also have some rooms but I don't know if any of those are accessible.
Transport & Parking
Spacious and well signed blue badge parking.
Access
Great! We met at the bar and ate in the Orangerie. It was easy to move tables to accommodate people's seating requirements. The vast majority was level access but where there was a step it was easy to find an alternative route.
Toilets
Clean and spacious accessible loo. The door opened inwards which would normally have been an issue but because of its size and layout it was fine. The fixtures and fittings kept with the rest of the decor and were shiny chrome. Full length mirror too. One thing that could have been improved was that the Red Cord seemed to have been cut off half way up so if she'd had a fall my pal wouldn't have been to call for help.
Staff
5* staff - very professional as you would expect. Also very friendly.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Visit on Sunday for their fantastic Sunday roasts!!
