Overview
While there is an accessible toilet, it's a cubicle within a larger set of designated women's toilets and a member of staff made it very uncomfortable and unwelcoming for me.
Transport & Parking
Good public transport access, and just opposite the station.
Access
There are a few steps between the main auditorium floor and the level where the bar and accessible toilet cubicle are.
Toilets
It was not obviously signed, and so my wife asked at the bar for me. There is one accessible cubicle within the toilets which has other cubicles and shared sinks- it's slightly larger with a couple of grab rails. However, it's located within a set of toilets that are designated as women's toilets.
Staff
A terrible security staff member denied me access by telling me that they are women's toilets and that I need to use the men's. The venue website states that there is one accessible toilet. He did not advise of any location of a different men's accessible toilet. I stated several times that I needed the accessible cubicle. He used a clearly sceptical tone and started trying to ask what the nature of my need was. I had to repeat myself several times that I needed to use the accessible facility- and when I was eventually allowed to he told me to 'be quick', which is a completely inappropriate comment.
