Overview
Camden can be a busy place. With the market, and the high street, sometimes you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The Edinbro Castle is perfect for this. Just off Delancy Street which is off Camden High Street, The Edinbro is favourite for locals and tourists alike. It's also really good for access, especially if you are a wheelchair user. All of the entrances are fairly level access, with two being totally level. There is an accessible toilet, accessed with a RADAR key (ask at the bar if you don't have one) and there is a fantastic garden area, a rarity in London. The staff are lovely and the food is good too, with a huge selection of drinks. I will say it can get busy when the sun is out, with the garden becoming super packed. I'd also advise to check the toilet seat in the accessible toilet, as it can sometimes be loose. (local knowledge here) But if you are visiting Camden and want to escape the busy streets this is a great place to grab a drink, a coffee or a very nice meal. https://www.edinborocastlepub.co.uk/#/
Transport & Parking
You can catch the bus to the stop on Delancy Street or Parkway and then it's a short distance up a mediumish hill. You can use your blue badge anywhere in this area too.
Access
Toilets
As I previously said, check the seat on the toilet, as it can be loose. It's not always super clean but not awful. Make sure to lock the door as the staff use this loo, so you can sometimes be joined by a rather shocked member of staff. But with so few pubs in the area having any accessible toilet facilities, it's nice to be able to drink and know you can enjoy a whole evening at the Edinbro without the nightmare of roaming the streets looking form somewhere to pee.
