Overview
The market itself is level access however the stalls themselves are not accessible so I can't give them more than 2.5 stars.
Transport & Parking
Parking and public transport facilities are the same as for Derby Intu. The entrance to Eagle Market is a short walk from Derby Bus Station and the taxi rank. Shop Mobility is also attached to the Eagle Market.
Access
To access the market you can go through Derby Intu which has a level access entrance. The entrance closest to the bus stop has electric automatic doors and a small lift to the market. If you go slightly further there is ramped access and another automatic door. The stalls all have steps and are not accessible to wheelchairs. The odd stall may have a ramp but when I contacted the market I was told the market is level access and they ignored my request for all stalls to have a suitable ramp.
Toilets
Toilet was clean (in past it hasn't been). Accessed using a radar key. Grab rails are of a contrasting colour around toilet and sink. No hand soap. Toilet was right hand transfer and the emergency cord reached floor (it used to be cut short). Toilet has a large paddle flush and sink is a lever tap. Enough space for a carer too.
