Overview

When you arrive at the Dormy House you are greeted with steps. If you are a wheelchair user, have no fear - go around the back and there is an accessible entrance. Good accessible loo and lovely fire!

Transport & Parking

If you're coming by car, you turn into the main Gleneagles Hotel driveway and it's before you get to the hotel on the left hand side. There is a Blue Badge parking space right outside the Dormy House. If you're coming by train the nearest station is Gleneagles station.

Access

The one thing that let the Dormy House down was signage! When you get to the main entrance you are confronted by about 5 or 6 steps. We asked a member of staff and they directed us along the side and around the back. This is easily accessible for a wheelchair user but they need to tell people! When you get to the back of the Dormy house you go up a short ramp and in some double doors - there is a slight lip but that didn't cause us any issues. There are plenty of tables available on this level - although if you want to sit by the window there are a couple of steps down to those tables.

A great place for a special treat and to watch some golf! It is also being used as the Player's Clubhouse for the Ryder Cup 2014.
