Overview
Lovely country pub, great food, and dog friendly too
Transport & Parking
We drove but I understand there Is a bus service to Betchworth (not sure how close it gets to the pub). Blue badge bay was right outside the entrance with easy access. I only deducted that half a star on a technicality as there is only one space.
Access
Level access but a bit of a lip on the threshold meant my wheelchair had to go backwards. Very ever so slight slope from car park to entrance but so gentle it didn't really give any difficulty. Level inside - didn't find any steps.
Toilets
Great loo, clean, spacious, handrails etc. BUT someone thought they'd store the baby high chairs in there - so could barely get my wheel in let alone manoeuvre it, had to lunge across the room for the grab rail and couldn't get to the hand drier at all. Bad form!
Staff
Offers of help with the door, let us swap our booked table for a more suitable one where I could stash my wheelchair.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Sort out that loo, Dolphin - we loved you and would really like to come back!
