Overview
This is a new bar in Belfast that I am becoming to enjoy more and more as it finds its feet. It's a bar that I suspect would be busy after work on Friday, but that's find as it can cope with it. With the red statue at the front and the wooden outdoor structure it could had easily became a gimmick bar. It has a great selection of beer and when we went on a Saturday afternoon a family were playing traditional folk music in the corner. Inside the bar is very dark so that could be problematic for some impairments. However, outside is very light and covered in areas.
Transport & Parking
It's in the heart of the Catherdal Quarter. Not great parking but not too out of the way.
Access
Their is level access from Warring Street opposite the Merchant Hotel, this access is up a lane and leads to the bar. The access from Hill Street doesn't give you step free access to the bar but their is also a disabled toilet in that area.
Toilets
Disabled toilet outside and inside - that's great but steps do separate the two.
Staff
Cheerful and staff communicated well.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I like this bar it's cool but it may not be great for people with visual impairments.
