Overview
The disused railway line is a smooth, wide tarmacadam path, regularly used for running, cycling, dog walking and mobility scooters. There are a number of places to access the path, which goes for miles. It's about 3 miles to Dollar for a trip to a cafe or bakery. It runs parallel to the Ochil hills.
Transport & Parking
Busses run along the Hillfoots villages and these are all accessible. There are a number of places alongside or close to the paths.
Access
The path is wide and flat with no steep slopes as it used to be a railway line.
Toilets
The nearest toilets are about 5 minutes from the path, either at the Sterling furniture shop or at the Sterling Mills retail park.
Staff
No staff work on the path.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I walk here daily with my dog. It is lovely to see the seasons changing and I never get tired of the views.
