Overview
This is a nice bar in the New Town with a good mix of people, from local residents to students. The whole time I was there, I was thinking yes, this is really great and accessible then as I left I remembered the 150mm step at the front. The beer is always a good mixture of ales, IPA's and lager. The Drygate was particularly tasty. The beer garden is nice but only when it's really sunny and the steps down is pretty accessible.
Transport & Parking
A bit of a walk from Broughton Street and Dundas Street
Access
I think the pub is pretty accessible, it's big and has plenty of space. The front step is unfortunate but I have asked if they have a ramp! Unfortunately the beer garden is pretty inaccessible, I find it difficult to walk down with a drink and its a bit of a trek. Also it's really shaded and can only be used on sunny days.
Toilets
Pretty decent accessible toilet, see pic!
Staff
Always nice, cheerful and communicate well!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
If you don't mind the first step then it's ok! The food is OK too. I like to come here for a half and read a book!
