Overview
We ate lunch outside at this hidden gem. The food exceeded our expectations and tasted very fresh. I would highly recommend the beetroot and goats cheese ravioli, it was delicious! As was the chocolate and orange torte.
Transport & Parking
There was a car park with plenty of space when we visited but I expect that it could become very busy at times. There were no marked spaces and so I feel it would benefit from having a few marked accessible spaces. The road leading up to the restaurant is in quite a poor condition with lots of potholes.
Access
Eating outside was very straightforward. Inside there was level access. A one way system was in use which might be narrow in parts for wheelchair or powerchair users (see rope in the photos below).
Toilets
The accessible toilet was OK. It is quite busy with the changing table and bins in the transfer area. It was missing a red emergency cord and it had a very small sink.
Staff
Staff were lovely and very happy to explain the Covid-19 precautions in place. Table service at the outdoor and indoor tables.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
One way route inside. Asked to wear a mask when moving inside the restaurant. Hand sanitiser at the entrance and took details for track and trace.
