Overview
I visited the Criterion theatre to see Two Strangers (Carry a cake across New York). I had a great time at the show but would have found more access information helpful. The staff were useful in letting me know it would be a series of stairs down to the stalls (seat K20). They were helpful for telling me this but I would have found it useful to know that the lighting on the stairs and entrance to the stalls was darker. I was travelling with a friend so she was able to help out where I needed but I shouldn’t be relying on someone. Even a brief note of low light would be helpful as I can prepare myself for finding my seat. There was a large amount of room for the seats - possibly the best I have sat in! There was a lot of leg room and wiggle room for me in the seat when usually there is not. Overall I had a great time visiting but would find it helpful for staff to provide me with more explicit information upon arrival.
