Overview
Given the age of the building, access was always going to be difficult. That said the attitude of the people running it makes all the difference, and the public areas address fully accessible, including the restaurant and bar. Food and location lovely.
Transport & Parking
Giggleswick station is within relatively easy walking distance (across the road). It is unstaffed but step free. The West bound platform requires crossing the line on a barrow crossing. Level access from the station car park is via an unlit access road and as short stint along a mainish road with no pavement. There is a car park. Didn't notice any disabled parking.
Access
The restaurant and bar have good access for wheelchair users. Enter via the door round the back to the right of the main entrance. Fully accessible toilet. The "wheelchair accessible" accommodation is only accessible via entrances with 1 step and narrow corridors etc. There's not much room to get round in the bedroom, no accessible bathroom / toilet and no adaptations whatsoever. I managed but it wasn't easy and I don't think many others would. Staff communicated with me by text quite happily and were very helpful.
Toilets
I didn't actually go in. From the outside it looks perfectly fine.
Staff
The manager in particular is exceptionally friendly and helpful, communicating by text, describing things well, orienting me etc.
