Overview
Run by the ever-reliable Red Mist Leisure Ltd., The Cock Inn in Headley (near Leatherhead, Surrey) is deceptively very accessible - it have a lift for wheelchair users hidden on the right - and most elevated - side of the car park. I can get in no problem: they've supposedly also got a ramp by the back door and an accessible loo (although I've never used them.) The service is up to a good standard and i can't resist the food - although it could be cheaper. I'd recommend this pub to anybody and I hope to see more people there. The only downside could be it's rural location but nobody can really help that. In order to visit a car's a must!
Transport & Parking
The disabled car parking is described as being 'in the top car park'' by the lift I referred to above. On my first visit this did take a while to find hence why I referred to the pub as being deceptive accessible.
Access
From what I've seen I can't fault it. The Cock Inn is worth travelling to,
Toilets
Now, I haven't used the toilets. However, I am reliably informed by staff that there is one - and I've no reason to doubt them. Given how accessible the rest of the establishment is, it would be a massive oversight for the toilet not to be a toilet - and for it not to be of a good standard. The pub was also renovated at quite considerable cost, approx. 18 months ago: http://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/surrey-news/headley-hill-pub-revert-original-8675805
Staff
We've always deemed the attitude(s) and attentiveness of staff worthy of a tip!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The Cock Inn is, in my opinion at least, deserving of recognition. That, above all else, is why I've written this review.
