Overview

Decent access, decent steak but room for improvement. Staff helpful, but restaurant tight for manoeuvring in a powerchair.

Transport & Parking

4

Plenty on–street parking available on and around Constitution Street.

Access

2.5

Restaurant is tight to manoeuvre in a power chair. (If you are in a larger group suggest you request the 'Captain's Table' – a large circular table seating up to 10 people at the rear of the restaurant with a bit more spacious for manoeuvring than main restaurant.)

Toilets

2

One accessible toilet available. Bizarrely there is no handle to open the door from the outside! High-chairs are stored in toilet which makes manoeuvring difficult. Plenty grab rails. No emergency cord. Easy to lock/open door handle once inside.

Staff

Helpful.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Steak is decent. Sides are minuscule - v stingey. Amazing cocktails and cracking wine list. Not cheap.

Accessible toilet Accessible loo from outside – no handle! Accessible loo door handle (from inside)

Went there today for lunch - possibly best Macaroni Cheese I have ever tasted!

Thanks for this review - been meaning to wheel in and take a look as I pass it most days. Not so sure now as a power chair user having read your very helpful review - may pop in to see if they have taken any action following your review. Thanks again, so useful to hear other experiences.
