Overview
As a self-proclaimed geek, I have been looking forward to visiting here for ages, and I wasn't disappointed. I don't usually mention my autism on here, as it never seems relevant to the visits I have... but this wonderful little museum fed my passion for all things computing and gaming, and took me on a trip down memory lane.
Transport & Parking
The museum is down a little back street as part of an industrial estate. The road in is potholed and the car park is quite small. That said, there is one blue badge space.
Access
Everything is on one level and there is plenty of space to move around. The exhibits - the games and computers can been reached from wheelchair level. The only slight exception was that I had to stretch up to see my laser cannon on the Space Invaders game, which resulted in a couple of lost lives.
Toilets
There is one accessible toilet, which was clean and had plenty of space. Half a point lost for the hand dryer, which was also from the 1980s and no longer had much power.
Staff
Staff were friendly and helpful.
