Overview

I went for a visit at the Burrell Collection today, I was impressed by the staff's attitude towards me. They were great checking if my lunch was ok , they made me a sandwich especially for me as there was nothing much on the menu I could eat. They also talked to me in the right way which always makes a difference to me as I'm an aac user. The only thing i would say someone in a wheelchair can't see some of the information for the artwork as it down low and hard to read.

Transport & Parking

I took my car there was plenty of spaces free to Blue Badge Holders. It is right outside.

Access

The Access was great for someone in a wheelchair. Signs everywhere. Lifts there were 2 but 1 was broken today.

Toilets

There is more than 1 changing places toilet in the Burrell Collection which is great. very clean and tidy. Loads of space, even a shower.

Staff

The girl in the Cafe called Hilary was great with me. she asked if there was any particular place i wanted to sit and helped with my meal choice. Also the woman in the gift shop, she looked something up for me.
