Overview
I got here before my friend and as I entered was approached by a member of staff who asked me if I was here for a drink or a meal. I told him I was meeting people for a meal but was going to have a drink first. He showed me to a table and brought me a pint of craft ale. He showed me the menu and told me he would have a table ready in the restaurant when I wanted to go through. We got two 30 day-aged ribeye steaks and a nice bottle of red wine for £30. Great value and very tasty. Finished off my meal with a nice cheese board and a large port.
Transport & Parking
There is parking outside the venue but this is perpendicular to the pavement which can cause problems to people who need plenty of room to enter/exit the car. There are bus stops on the main road not far from the entrance.
Access
If you are in a wheelchair you would need somebody to open the door for you but due to the big glass windows people can clearly see you. There is plenty of room to move about inside. The height of the tables in the restaurant was good enough for me to get my electric wheelchair under, which is often a problem.
Toilets
The accessible toilet is large enough to turn your wheelchair. As you may or may not be able to see from my poor picture the flush is on the side nearest the wall, it's a bit of a pet hate of mine but on the whole a nice clean toilet. There are grab rails if you need.
Staff
The staff were very attentive and helpful.
