Overview
A delightful charming old worlde Inn that’s sits in beautiful surroundings, in the quaint village of TURVILLE, in Buckinghamshire. The little Inn was built in 1550, in a part of the Chiltern hills, which has lots of charm to it. Inside you will find two small areas, the Well Bar, and The Windmill lounge, both with open fire places, and original wooden beams. On a warm sunny day, there is a delightful garden and patio areas, with lots of seating under protecting umbrellas. If you want peace and tranquility with just the sound of cheerful bird calls, then don’t miss this beautiful place. It’s a must. We really do suggest you visit the inn, it’s a delight, and really is a part of the delightful village itself.
Transport & Parking
A most lovely drive through undulating countryside will bring you to the beautiful village of TURVILLE, a place you most not miss when in this part of the Chiltern hills. The car park is compacted hardcore, with pot holes mind you, which will be a nuisance on wet days, but a little gate will soon get you into the gardens or the inn itself.
Access
A bit of a push from car park over rough compacted ground, but the gardens and the Inn are all level, a bit tight to move around inside, but well worth the effort.
Toilets
Staff
Seemed friendly enough, very busy as you would expect, but all did their best.
