Overview
We would like to say a big thank you to the lovely staff at the Brampton Museum for inviting us for a tour of the museum and their recent Matisse exhibition. The team made us feel very welcome, we attended as a group from a local charity, Staffordshire Sight Loss Association. There are so many interesting items and so much to learn about the history of Newcastle under Lyme within the museum. The venue was accessible and they provided a touch tour and audio description for our visit which really helped us to get a good understanding of the items on display within the museum and the artwork within the Matisse exhibition. We hired a room for refreshments, they have lovely modern room hire facilities that we would definitely recommend. The cafe is fantastic (very nice cakes!) and it caters for a range of dietary requirements. We are looking forward to our next visit! There is also lots to do in the surrounding area with aviaries, a play area, a sandpit, and a miniature railway.
