Overview
We. Stopped here for lunch when visiting the town. There is a step up into the shop too steep for the wheelchair.I was about to get out and my family help me up the step.I didn’t have my crutches with me .we had left them in our car.when a member of staff came to the door and told us wheelchair access was via the shop next door.(an outdoor clothing shop) . Once in this shop it’s just through an arch into the coffee shop. Which was busy but just enough room to get around . We all had scones and hot drinks .the scones were very nice . There was plenty of choice on the menu to suit all tastes . Staff brought our drinks over for us while my family helped me get my coat off and settled. Would certainly go back now we know how to get into the coffee shop .
Transport & Parking
Best to park in the main car park by the church where there are spaces for blue badge holders . There is also plenty of on street parking
Access
Once we found out we could access the coffee shop via the clothing shop next door.it wax easy enough despite being busy to get to a table.
Toilets
This was a bit tight for space once inside with my wheelchair and daughter. But we managed
Staff
Staff were really helpful.when a member of staff realised I was in a wheelchair and trying to get in the shop she rushed to the door and told us to enter via the shop next door. Once inside we found a table and staff were more than happy to help once our order was placed at the counter .
