Overview

This is a good size café located with in one of the stands and is near to the ticket collection point and is very easy to find the café offers a wide range of food and drinks and is open even on non match days which is when we visited. The café has a range of styles of seating including booths but mostly made up of table with dinning room chairs to allow a wheelchair to access the space. The lighting with in the café is good and there are large screens showing sky sports news the sound is however off. While it was not that busy during our visit they do recommend you book a table if there is a match on which is understandable due to numbers

Transport & Parking

5

There is parking available at the ground and in the streets around the stadium its self so you should not have to far to go. There is also a Taxi Rank just out side the gates of the stadium and a local tour bus that runs from the Albert Dock area stops just out side the gates a number of local buses also stop next to or near the stadium

Access

4

There is a good sign above the door showing you the way in to the café. At this point you go in via a covered area and turn left and enter via a large glass door that opens outwards this takes you to a lift on the left hand side you take the lift 1 floor up and the Boot Room Sports Café is on the left just ahead as you exit the lift. There is another glass door that opens both ways this takes you to the bar area and from this point the staff will show you to a table the table nearest this point is always ready to take a wheelchair but other chairs can be moved out if required if it is in use

Toilets

3

There is only one accessible toilet it is located next to the ladies and gents and is off to the left next to the bar area. The Wheelchair toilet is also the baby change area the toilet has grip rails on both sides and it is a bit tight and there is no room for a care giver.

Staff

5

The staff are very good and friendly and will introduce them self to you giving you there first name and telling you if you need anything to let them know. They will also serve you drinks at your table so you do not need to go to the bar your self

Anything else you wish to tell us?

There is an area with in this café that is used to display items when we visit it was the Stephen Gerard Collection that was on display as there is seating in this area it is difficult to see the display from a whheelchair
