Overview
On a wet day a visit to the railway was ideal. In the New Year the Black Bun Run is where coffee or tea is served with black bun included in the price of your ticket from Bo’ness
Transport & Parking
The station had a large car park with about 8 disabled bays next to the ramp that takes you into the station building.
Access
Access onto the station is good, also into the shop and cafe are all on one level. There is a ramp onto the train with a member of staff to assist. The only problem is the 10 minute walk to the museum. The start of the path at the station end is pretty uneven with stones. It is a cinder path thereafter and pretty flat but prone to puddles in wet weather.
Toilets
Only problem is in the station, are that the disabled toilets are labelled male and female. Awkward if the career us the opposite sex to the person needing assistance.
Staff
Staff were very helpful and friendly
