Overview
The food is great. They have a variety for everyone including vegetarian and vegan. The cafe/restaurant is situated in a Boathouse hense the name. Lovely views of the river Nith and Criffel (Big Hill). Layout inside is open plan. Easy for someone in a wheelchair to manoeuvre. If going best phone to book a table.
Transport & Parking
Large car park, however only two disabled spaces.
Access
To gain access to the Boathouse there is a wooden ramp which some wheelchair users may find steep, however it is manageable. There is a wheelchair access button to open the doors automatically.
Toilets
I found the accessible toilet spacious and clean. No changing places toilet.
Staff
Staff are always polite and courteous.
