Overview
Recently renovated pub opposite a taxi bay which is wheelchair accessible (although the doors are a problem the staff notice you straight away). Incredibly accommodating staff, great selection of drinks and the food is excellent, with several promotions going on throughout the week. It also shows a lot of sports, but this isn't overly loud, especially during the week. Fully accessible toilet, but not all of the pub is accessible—they did have a lift for a small upper level but this is no longer available. There's a small garden which isn't accessible from the main pub, but which I'm told is okay with assistance. Recommended.
Transport & Parking
Taxi rank seconds away, as are bus stops from Brighton and Haywards Heath, and it's five minutes (if that) from Burgess Hill Train Station.
Access
Ramp into pub, staff will jump and open a door if necessary.
Toilets
Easy access, incredibly clean.
Staff
Friendly, happily carry your drink anywhere. If you can't reach payment points for cards, they'll bring things around.
