Overview
Using my Triride and some good beach tyres I easily made it across the grassy banks from the road and then straight onto the sand. This would probably not be possible without the Triride attachment but any wheelchair with chunky tyres and big front casters could make it at low tide. I would think many electric chairs and scooters could access the sand.
Transport & Parking
turn off A846 right just before airport on your right and follow the road until you are nearly on the sand but are separated by about 40m of grassy bank.
Access
very achievable but not for the unadventurous and ensure it is a falling tide and you have sufficient support from someone able bodied.
