Overview
The Beehive is a recently renovated pub/restaurant serving a good choice of food located in a small village south of Sheffield. Wheelchair access was good and the staff were very friendly.
Transport & Parking
We drove and there is a car park to the rear with one disabled parking space.
Access
From the car park there is a slight concreted ramp to the outdoor seating area which leads to the side entrance which is level access. There are two sets of doors to navigate through which would have been difficult if a member of staff hadn't held the door for us. The front of the building has steps.
Toilets
The toilet is a little on the small side but there are grab rails around the toilet although only one by the sink.
Staff
All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. They made sure that the table was suitable for the wheelchair.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The food was good quality and a good choice for lunch or evening menus. We would go back and try the evening menu. I would recommend booking as they seemed quite busy.
