Overview
Restaurant and bar in stunning former bank building. Food is lovely and nicely presented. Access is fair as there are 3 - 4 steps with handrails both side at the entrance and accessible toilet has a baby changing faciality at the side of the toilet and therefore making it difficult for some wheelchair users to manoeuvre.
Transport & Parking
The restaurant is on College Green close to Trinity College. One of the tram lines stops and several buses stop close by. Both modes of transport have step free access.
Access
There are 3 - 4 steps leading into the restaurant. There is no further stairs to the ground floor. There is an upstairs but I do not know if there was a lift to go up. There are free standing tables and chairs in the restaurant section. Round the bar there are hight stools and tables.
Toilets
The accessible toilet is at the back of the restaurant. It has a manual door. There are plenty of grab rails but no emergency cord. There was a baby changing table next to the toilet which will make it difficult for some people to manoeuvre. The bathroom was clean and tidy.
Staff
Service was good.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This is a very nice restaurant, serving lovely food, however, it will not be accessible for everyone with a mobility disability. I am unsure if they have a portable entrance ramp, but it might be worth asking if you'd like to go and require step free accesss.
