Fabulous tapas and cocktails

Overview
Visited with family. Disabled access is around the back of the building , in what was once the carpark for this former bank. Quite a long corridor to restaurant. We booked ahead online and advised of a wheelchair user and then we were advised that we should have phoned ahead when we arrived. Some areas difficult to manoeuvre chair due to structure of the building, and layout of restaurant, but the fabulous food, cocktails, and friendly staff made up for this. Would and did visit again
Transport & Parking
Travelled by car , kitchen staff advised parking at rear of building was not a problem for access. Public bus stance a few hundred metres away
Access
Very steep steps to main entrance, rails in situ. Restaurant is on 2 levels, stairs only to upper level. Wheelchair access at rear of building , would advise calling ahead to ensure is unlocked. Quite a long corridor, with nowhere to rest for those with mobility issues. Access corridor not the cleanest , stuff lying about which could be a trip hazard. As mentioned some areas in restaurant quite narrow to pass with the chair, larger power chairs would have difficulty.
Toilets
There was an accessible loo on site, difficult to find, and not visited due to need to navigate a busy restaurant
Staff
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly the kitchen staff, who came out to see if we needed any assistance when we arrived
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Signage for accessible toilet could be improved. Would definitely visit again, probably during the week, when meal specials are on and not as busy as weekends. Would recommend calling and ensuring a table on lower level, as the restaurant is on 2 levels
