Overview
Sometimes you simply have to go places and they're not great - the Anne Rowling Clinic breaks the mould with a warm friendly environment and great access.
Transport & Parking
It's possible to park almost outside with a short walk to the door if you're a blue badge holder. Accessible buses serve the hospital campus and they're currently some distance away as you have to walk through the hospital.
Access
Top marks as it was level access to wheel in through the automated doors. Once in the reception it was friendly and welcoming. The reception desk has a dropped area which was good for me as a wheelchair user. All the rooms I visited were easy to get in and there was ample space to move around.
Toilets
There's more than one accessible loo. The toilet I used was massive, loads of grab rails, automatic taps, and spotlessly clean. The door to get in was super wide and easy to operate.
Staff
Having met several of the staff I can report that they are all very friendly, helpful and sensitive to the needs of disabled visitors. You're made to feel welcome which is great.
