Overview
I’ve visited here a number of times recently. Great venue and overall access is quite good. As with most places a few issues but hopefully they can be improved. As mentioned by another reviewer the doors are heavier and not really manageable for wheelchair users but staff will help. You need to get a staff member to access the loo. This did result one time in me having to shout to nearby staff for help so they do need to keep a staff member near or have doors opened to allow access. There’s wheelchair spaces in the stalls and circle. Both offer a good view. The stalls is nice if you want to be a closer, but side on a bit. The circle offers a large view of the stage straight on but further back. There is a good sound system for the theatre. Staff are generally good.
Transport & Parking
Car park is quite a distance if you are walking. Fine as a wheelchair user. Can be a significant wait for the lifts and to exit the car park at the end of the show.
Access
Doors need either a staff member or PA to operate. There’s no width restriction for wheelchair space in stalls but you do need to be movable to allow a lot of people in and out.
Toilets
I’ve used a toilet upstairs and in the stalls. Both are adequate accessible loos. Stalls can be accessed mostly independently but upstairs needs a staff member to get you there. A changing places toilet is listed as near by but I’ve not found it yet.
Staff
Staff are friendly and will offer to help.
