Overview
Great show, good venue with reasonable facilities . Last time I visited, I felt let down by lack of attention to disabled customers - Eg watched an unaccompanied wheelchair user struggle with heavy doors virtually under the nose of staff. However staff were attentive and helpful this time, going out of their way to offer practical help and check we were OK. Top marks!
Transport & Parking
There are blue badge bays on the side of the multi-storey nearest the theatre but it's still some way to the theatre (inside the Peacock Centre) and you have to pay (the pay station is quite complicated and it's expensive).
Access
We entered at Royal circle level from shopping centre/car park. Signage clear, gentle ramps everywhere but heavy doors into theatre itself (wheelchair won't fit through just one door so you've got to open both doors in each set). Staff offered assistance on way in. Lift from Royal circle level to stalls at ground level or vice versa.
Toilets
Clearly signposted at Royal circle level but through heavy double doors again and somewhat grubby. No hand drier just paper towel dispenser so tightly packed I couldn't work it. Red cord tied out of reach. Found a further disabled loo just inside door leading to front stalls, this one is not signposted from the bar/foyer area - it ought to be!
Staff
I was much happier this visit - several staff approached us to check we knew where our seats were and how to get to them. Many London theatres do things so much better, with a host assigned to show you to (and from, at the end of the evening) ..... Woking, take note!
