Overview
This is my favourite Wetherspoons location in Edinburgh.
Transport & Parking
There is limited parking outside but I came on wheels so unsure how that works. Many buses stop on Princes St which is parallel to George Street.
Access
To enter you must go in two sets of doors. I needed to open both at same time in my powerchair to come in comfortablly. A ramp takes you up to the main level on the left. If people are crowded round stools at this are you might have to shout to get past. Once up the ramp it is more spaced out, there are booths, tables and stools. The bar is quite high although anytime I’ve been up to it staff see me and make sure I an served quickly! You can also order from the Wetherspoons app which I think is a great feature
Toilets
These are on the left hand side across from the bar. RADAR key required. Enough space for myself in a powerchair and one companion but it was quite tight. Handrails and red cord are there and mirror above sink
Staff
Very helpful and kind, they always make me feel comfortable and at ease
