Overview
The restaurant was large and quite spacious. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the food was delicious!
Transport & Parking
The centre where the restaurant is, was very well signposted with lots of car parking space. There are plenty of disabled parking spaces very close to the entrance of the venue, making it easily accessible.
Access
The entire restaurant was flat with no stairs, making it accessible for wheelchair users. The signs for the toilets are not very clear until you walk towards them. The lighting in the restaurant is quite dim making it difficult to distinguish the staff - as they have black uniforms. The menu is large, however the print is small and would be difficult to see for those with visual impairment. Some of the walkways between tables were quite tight an may not fit a wheelchair down them comfortably. There were tables that had individual chairs which could be replaced with a wheelchair.
Toilets
The accessible toilet was easy to find and had a large sign on the door. It was spacious, clean and tidy. There would be plenty of room for 2 people (a carer) to fit in. There were grab rails and an emergency alarm to pull if needed. There was a note on the door stating the lock was broken at present, which could be problematic for a disabled individual if they were alone.
Staff
The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. They frequently brought drink refills to the table and were very observant. Some staff were making balloon animals for the children in the restaurant which was nice.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
It was a very enjoyable experience, and would be suitable for wheelchair user. However; some aspects could be improved e.g the menu text size and the accessible toilet.
