Overview
Large supermarket which also had a cafe and hairdressers.
Transport & Parking
There are disabled bays outside the store. If you need to borrow a mobility aid I advise parking in the car park that has cover, parking near the left sided door (there are two) and using the lift to access them. The bus I use stops outside ASDA and leaves from outside Wilko's. There are traffic lights to cross the road with tactile pavement.
Access
Wheelchair access is reasonable. Doors are electric and automatic and there is a small lift which is how you access the shop floor. There are trolleys that fit on some wheelchairs and disabled child trolleys. There are mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs available. There is two seats downstairs and some seats near lift upstairs but no other seating. Lights are bright. Shelves are high. Freezers are both deep chest types and freezer with doors above which are difficult to access. Sandwiches and drink fridges had doors. Downstairs there was a wheelchair accessible photo booth.
Toilets
Toilet door was unlocked and narrow. There were 3 bins in the loo and the emergency cord had been cut short. There were grab rails (white) around the toilet, sink and on door. There wasn't a lowered coat hook. The loo was too small for more than one person and wasn't very clean. Notice: There is a changing places toilet but I've not seen it.
