Ted Baker - Livingston Designer Outlet
Visit date:
Overview
Over all, the shopping centre is spacious although can be crowded and very busy, especially at this time of year due to Christmas shoppers. However, there are several ramps and lifts available as well as toilet facilities with extra space and railings. The centre staff are all friendly. The Ted Baker store can be quite cramped and narrow, however there is enough room for a wheelchair/scooter. Some items can be hung pretty high up (eg bags or long dresses), but the staff are friendly, approachable and more than happy to help with assisting you with viewing products. There is only one wheelchair accessible fitting room, but it is spacious with extra railings and less disorientating than the rest of the fitting rooms. Sometimes, on weekends I understand it can get pretty busy and it can be a slight wait for an accessible fitting room for those with wheelchairs/mobility scooters, as it is used for all members of the public during busy periods.
Transport & Parking
Lots of disabled parking available in each of the carparks for the shopping centre, multistory car parking has spacious lifts.
Access
Lots of seating around the centres as well as several coffee shops to stop in for a break. Ramps/lifts/escalators are available for every set of steps. Not every store had braille for signs etc.
Toilets
Lots of toilets throughout centre, well sign posted. Less accessible toilets but all are spacious.
Staff
Friendly staff, happy to help. Unsure of how many would be able to communicate using BSL.
