Tebay Services M6 South
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Hearing Aid, Wheelchair
Overview
A good basic motorway services station that offers the type of services you would expect such as tea coffee a range of different types of food available. The fuel services are available as you exit the station. The main service building is on one level with good wide doors these were open during our visit due to the heat.
Transport & Parking
A good number of Blue badge spaces available these are the nearest to the main building however these could soon fill up at peak times such as public holiday Mondays when a large number of people are travelling about.
Access
The service station is level and has dropped kerbs at points you cross over the main building is level through out
Toilets
There are two accessible toilets these are located next to the ladies and gents on the right had side as you enter. The are good basic accessible toilets with rails available to hold on to. The doors open out the way this is fine however the toilet nearest the ladies toilet opens on to the area that people walk past. I watch someone exit the toilet almost hit a member of staff with the door as they were standing waiting to check it was clean. I took a star away because of this as someone could get hurt if the door was thrown open by someone leaving the toilet
Staff
The staff we spoke to in the shop were very nice
Anything else you wish to tell us?
As with all motorway service stations this could be a busy place at peak periods and as a result you might need to wait in line access services
