Memorable afternoon at this very busy sold out exhibition.

Overview
When in London a trip to Tate Modern often tends to happen, neglecting the Tate Britain. My mum and I would go every summer and I have great memories but I don't think I have been back since Patrick Heron's 1998 show. I was really excited to go back and see this building that I had so many found memories off. I had booked tickets for the David Hockney exhibition months ago and I was so excited but I was not disappointed. The show was really busy and although some impairments would struggle in this environment, I was fine, just a little tired after - but that called for a refreshing pint afters!
Transport & Parking
Walked from Vauxhall Station, about a 15 minute direct walk over the bridge.
Access
Great access throughout, big ramp down into the entrance, lifts available, ramps used throughout the building. The Hockney was on one level, throughout the exhibition and seats where provided in the rooms.
Toilets
I didn't use the accessible loo, however the 'accessible' cubicle within the gents toilets had a lock which you really needed two hands to use - so I used another cubicle.
Staff
Always very friendly and helpful, where patient when receiving tickets.
